Lemonade Faith

It has become so apparent to me that Satan tries to make my faith fail daily. It is  amazing the tricks that are thrown my way to destroy my  hope. In my new book Pregnant With Possibility, I talk about this concept of mine called lemonade faith. The concept is built off of what know Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as:

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
— Hebrews 11:1 KJV

To understand faith a little better let's think of faith as a glass of lemonade. If faith is the substance of things hoped for, hope is the actual glass that holds the faith. The substance that is faith we can think of as the lemons, water,  and sugar. If you remove the sugar you no longer have lemonade. If you get rid of the lemons its just sugar water. When you combine all the three together, you have a delectable drink for a hot day.

If satan can take away your hope, your faith no longer has anywhere go. If Satan plant dark nothings of doubt in your mind, so that you no longer believe that what you want or need is possible, you won't even attempt to pour faith into the thing you're hoping for because you now believe it won't hold what you're pouring. Where there is no hope, there is room for faith. If you can find just a little hope, you can pour a little faith. As you pour faith your hope will expand, so more faith can be applied.

So like I said in the beginning, it seems like Satan works to make my faith fail daily. It always seems to begin with an appeal to logical side. "Now you know that the laws of physics and attraction aren't going to allow.... to happen." All of sudden i begin to rationalize why what I'm praying for is, unlikely. As I take step back and begin to reflect on how God has worked in the past, it becomes apparent that he likes doing the impossble. Don't let your faith clock out because you can't see the progress. Your faith can move mountains, but the absesnse of  it can cause parades to cease. Both Heaven and Hell know your power, but will you use it?
